Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some useful phrases from Marc's experience.

  • bureau — office, desk, Ma professeur a un grand bureau.
  • Je m'appelle — My name is, Je m'appelle Sofia.
  • elle cherche — she is looking for, she searches, Elle cherche son téléphone., Ready to see how Marc resolves his problem? Retournons à notre histoire.

La dame trouve mon nom. "Ah, oui. Votre dossier est là. Il y a un petit problème." Elle me sourit. Elle me répond : "De rien. Bonne journée !" Je suis soulagé. Mon problème est résolu.
