Deine neue Wohnung ist leer. Keine Möbel. Nichts. Wo fängst du an? Stell dir vor, du stehst in deiner leeren Küche. Was brauchst du zuerst?

Let's take a moment to look at some key phrases from that story.

  • einrichten — to furnish/set up, Ich möchte meine Wohnung schön einrichten.
  • brauchen — to need, Ich brauche einen neuen Stuhl.

— I am standing in my new apartment.
  • Alles ist noch leer. — Everything is still empty.
  • Ich brauche einen Esstisch und Stühle. — I need a dining table and chairs.
  • Ich muss einkaufen gehen. — I have to go shopping.
  • Ich bin im Möbelhaus. — I am in the furniture store.
  • Meine Wohnung ist jetzt mein Zuhause. — My apartment is now my home., Das hast du gut gemacht! Weiter so!
