Let's pause our story for a moment and look at some useful phrases from what we just heard.

  • 美容院 — hairdresser/salon, 美容院へ行きます。
  • 大丈夫ですか — Is it okay? / Is it alright?, 今、大丈夫ですか?
  • 今日はどうされますか — How would you like it today?
  • こんな感じにしたいです — I'd like it like this (feeling/style)., この写真のように、こんな感じにしたいです。

— I went to the hairdresser.
— Do you have a reservation?
— Is it okay now?
— I'd like it like this.
— Please make it a little shorter.
— Yes, I really like it., よくできました!
