Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some useful phrases from what we just heard.

  • 이가 아프다 — to have a toothache / tooth hurts, 저는 이가 아파요.
  • 예약하다 — to make an appointment, 치과에 예약했어요.
  • 접수하다 — to register / check in, 접수대에서 접수했어요.

— My tooth hurts so much.
— Is treatment possible today?
— I arrived at the dental clinic and checked in.
— Where is it uncomfortable/what's bothering you?
— There's a small cavity here.
— I'm so glad my tooth doesn't hurt anymore., 잘하셨어요!
