Let's pause our story for a moment and look at some useful Korean phrases from that first part.

(The letters look blurry.)
(I went to the optician.)
(I want to get an eye exam.)
  • 잘 안 보이다 — can't see well, 멀리 있는 간판이 잘 안 보여요. (I can't see distant signs well.)
(There are many pretty glasses frames.)
  • 예약을 하다 — to make an appointment, 저는 예약을 하지 않았어요. (I didn't make an appointment.),

— My eyes are a bit blurry.
— Reading books is difficult.
— I decided to go to the optician.

— I need a new glasses prescription.
— I can pick up the new glasses in a few days., 정말 잘했어요!
