Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some useful phrases from what we just heard.
- 游客中心 (yóukè zhōngxīn) — visitor centre, 这是游客中心。
- 地图 (dìtú) — map, 我需要一张地图。
- 步道 (bùdào) — hiking trail, 这个步道很漂亮。
- 远 (yuǎn) — far, 那个步道有点远。
- 近 (jìn) — near, 这个步道很近。
- 请问 (qǐngwèn) — excuse me/may I ask, 请问，洗手间在哪里？, 现在我们回到国家公园的故事。
我问服务员：“请问，您推荐哪个步道？我想要一个中等的，不太容易也不太难的。” 服务员指着地图说：“这个青松步道很不错，风景很好，大概走一个小时。” 哇，一个小时很合适！我又问：“请问，这里有洗手间吗？” 她说：“有，洗手间就在右边，很近。” 我很高兴，拿了地图，谢谢她。在中国，问路或问信息时说“请问”是很礼貌的。我准备好去走青松步道了！今天真的是一个美好的公园日。我很期待看到美丽的风景。
