O sol brilha, o vento sopra.

'Bom dia!', ela diz, 'Posso ajudar?' 'Bom dia', eu respondo. 'Eu procuro pelo barco 'Gaivota'. Você sabe onde ele está?'

Let's pause our story for a moment and look at some key phrases from that first part.

  • chego — I arrive, Eu chego ao clube cedo.
  • vejo — I see, Eu vejo muitos barcos.
  • procuro — I look for, Eu procuro meu chapéu.
  • preciso de — I need, Eu preciso de água.
  • perguntar — to ask, Eu vou perguntar ao instrutor.
  • Você sabe? — Do you know?, Você sabe onde é a praia?, Agora, vamos voltar à nossa história e descobrir o que aconteceu com o barco 'Gaivota'.
