Primeiro, eu compro o ingresso online. É mais fácil e rápido. Na bilheteria, a fila está pequena. Eu pego meu ingresso e entro. Eu olho o meu bilhete. Ele diz: 'Setor A, fila 5, poltrona 12'. Eu procuro o Setor A. Tem muitas pessoas. É bom chegar cedo para achar o meu lugar. Eu vejo a fila 5. E lá está, a minha poltrona! Eu me sento. A sala está quase cheia. A luz diminui. O espetáculo vai começar.

Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some key vocabulary we just heard.

  • o ingresso — the ticket, Eu compro o ingresso online.
  • a bilheteria — the ticket office, Na bilheteria, a fila está pequena.
  • a fila — the line/queue, A fila está pequena hoje.
  • a poltrona — the armchair/seat, Eu procuro a minha poltrona.
  • o lugar — the place/seat, É bom chegar cedo para achar o meu lugar.
  • o espetáculo — the show/performance, O espetáculo vai começar., Muito bem! Agora, vamos continuar a nossa história no teatro.

As luzes apagam e a cortina sobe. Eu saio do teatro feliz. Adoro a cultura brasileira!

Agora, vamos praticar um pouco juntos. Repita estas frases comigo em português.
