Let's take a quick moment to look at some of the words and phrases from that first part of our story.

  • falda — skirt, Tengo una falda nueva.
  • demasiado larga — too long, La falda es demasiado larga.
  • arreglar — to fix/alter, Necesito arreglar mi vestido.

"Serán quince euros," me informa. Me siento feliz. Es genial poder comunicarme en estas situaciones. Ahora mi falda tendrá el ajuste perfecto. ¡Qué bien!

¡Vamos a practicar juntos algunas frases de hoy!

  • Necesito arreglar esta falda. — I need to alter this skirt.
  • La falda es un poco larga. — The skirt is a little long.
  • ¿En qué puedo ayudarle? — How can I help you?
  • Pruébatela y vemos la medida. — Try it on and we'll see the measurement.
  • ¿Cuánto cuesta el arreglo? — How much does the alteration cost?
  • Estará lista el jueves. — It will be ready on Thursday., ¡Excelente trabajo! Has practicado frases muy útiles.
