Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some key phrases and words from that segment.

  • Orologio — Watch, Il mio orologio è vecchio.
  • Rotto — Broken, Il mio orologio è rotto.
  • Riparare — To repair, Vorrei riparare il mio orologio.
  • Quanto costa? — How much does it cost? Quanto costa ripararlo?
  • Lancetta — Hand (of a watch), Questa lancetta non si muove., Alright, now that we've looked at those, let's get back to our story and see what happens next!

Ora, proviamo insieme! Ripeti queste frasi con me per praticare.

  • Il mio orologio è rotto. — My watch is broken.
  • Ho un problema. — I have a problem.
  • Quanto costa ripararlo? — How much does it cost to repair it?
  • Quando sarà pronto? — When will it be ready?
  • Grazie mille. — Thank you very much.
  • Arrivederci. — Goodbye., Bravissimo! Ottimo lavoro con queste frasi importanti.

Oggi abbiamo imparato a parlare in orologeria.
