Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some key phrases from that segment.

  • パンクしました (panku shimashita) — I got a flat tire.
  • できますか (dekimasu ka) — Can you do it?
  • すみません (sumimasen) — Excuse me / Sorry.
  • たくさん (takusan) — many / a lot.

— My bicycle has a flat tire.
— I'm going to the bike shop.
— Can you repair it for me?
— How long will it take?
— How much is it?
— Thank you very much., 素晴らしいですね!
