Oh nein! Wo ist mein Schlüssel? Ist er in meiner Tasche? Nein.

Was soll ich tun?

Let's pause our story for a moment to look at some key phrases we just heard.

  • mein Schlüssel — my key, Ich suche meinen Schlüssel.
  • ich habe ihn verloren — I lost it, Ich habe mein Portemonnaie verloren.
  • der Schlüsseldienst — the locksmith service, Der Schlüsseldienst hilft mir.
  • das Problem — the problem, Was ist das Problem?
  • die Tür ist zu — the door is closed, Die Tür ist zu, ich kann nicht rein.
  • ich brauche Hilfe — I need help, Ich brauche Hilfe beim Kochen., Gut gemacht!

— I am coming home.
  • Ich suche meinen Schlüssel. — I am looking for my key.
  • Mein Schlüssel ist weg. — My key is gone.
  • Ich habe ihn verloren. — I lost it.
  • Ich brauche Hilfe. — I need help.
  • Was kostet das? — How much does that cost?, Super gemacht!
