Entrei e me sentei no banco do motorista. 'Agora, vamos ligar o motor', ele falou. Respirei fundo.

Let's highlight some key words and phrases from that story to help you navigate your own driving school experience.

  • autoescola — driving school, A autoescola é grande.
  • instrutor — instructor, Meu instrutor é paciente.
  • o volante — the steering wheel, Eu seguro o volante com as duas mãos.
  • o pedal — the pedal, Aperto o pedal do acelerador.
  • ligar o motor — to start the engine, É hora de ligar o motor.
  • o banco do motorista — the driver's seat, Eu me sentei no banco do motorista., Muito bem!

Ricardo manteve a calma. Eu ri, ele riu. No final, conseguimos.
